Environmental Program Management
Many of today's complex environmental issues quickly polarize involved parties. These stakeholders frequently include the industrial operator or government agency requiring support, but also involve other regulatory agencies, scientific community, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and the public. AMS staff frequently manages programs that require interaction with multiple stakeholders, and often organize and facilitate workshops to bring into focus the technical and scientific issues that must be resolved to achieve progress.
AMS' professional staff of marine biologists, toxicologists, chemists, oceanographers, and aquatic scientists have been involved in developing and managing many different types of projects including Environmental Impact Studies for US and international development projects, Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) studies, habitat impact and restoration projects, and habitat resource evaluations.
