Andrew Gunther, Vice-president

Dr. Gunther has been studying pollution problems for the last 16 years. He is currently serving as the Assistant Chief Scientist for the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Restoration Program where he manages the review of the research and monitoring in what is currently one of the world's largest research and monitoring efforts in the marine environment.

Dr. Gunther is also the manager of the Regional Monitoring Program for Trace Substances in the San Francisco Estuary. This program, the largest of its kind in the country, utilizes chemical, biological, and toxicological methods to provide the State of California with a synoptic view of contamination in the San Francisco Bay and Delta.
